my story

A mountain born wild-child at heart, I struggle to stand still and rarely turn down the next adventure. Most of my time is filled with studying for my Masters of Library Science while working in a Middle School Media Center. When I’m not wearing one of these two hats, I love to hike in the surrounding Western North Carolina Mountains, write, and play with my film camera.

In addition to my already packed schedule, I run an independent oral history collection titled The Finding Hope Project; and am on the Oral History Volunteer committee for the Come Hell or High Water Hurricane Helene community memory project at Pack Special Collections Library in Asheville, NC.
