my story
A mountain born wild-child at heart, I struggle to stand still and rarely turn down the next adventure. Most of my time is filled with studying for my Masters of Library Science while running an Elementary School library. When I’m not wearing one of these two hats, I love to hike in the surrounding Western North Carolina Mountains, write professionally, play with my cameras, or try out the latest design software.
In addition to my many hats, I run an independent oral history collection titled The Finding Hope Project; and am on the Oral History Volunteer committee for the Come Hell or High Water Hurricane Helene community memory project at Pack Special Collections Library in Asheville, NC.
